The Gold Standard in Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy for dogs

Dog Health Guides

How much does dog physiotherapy cost?

The cost of dog physiotherapy in the UK varies by location and centre. In November 2024 we benchmarked session fees across Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex.

Any good practice will start with a consultation:

  • Physiotherapy consultations ranged from £50–£160 per session
  • Consultations last between 45 and 90 minutes

And then, follow up treatments:

  • Physiotherapy sessions ranged from £45-95 per session
  • Sessions last between 30 and 45 minutes

The broad range of session fees is reflective of a variety of operating costs, experience and professionalism. Despite our lower fees we found that the more you pay the more experienced and well trained the professional therapist, and the longer the session the more your dog will benefit.

  • For a 60-90 minute consultation the average Physiotherapy fee is £94.50
  • For a 45 minute consultation the average Physiotherapy fee is £68.90
  • For a 45 minute treatment session the average Physiotherapy fee is £67.64
  • For a 30 minute session the average Physiotherapy fee is £59.80

In addition to these fees some practices charge for insurance claims.

At the Canine Fitness Centre your dog will have a full 90 minute consultation for £90 with a qualified and experienced Veterinary physiotherapist, and a 45 minute treatment session for £50. Our fees are all inclusive.
